    Luis N. Perez

    Luis has been practicing law since 1984, maintaining the same passion for his practice and commitment to his clients as he did when he began and is the founder of Perez Law Group. He leads all of the firm’s practice groups.

    Luis is an accomplished trial attorney, having tried over 130 civil jury trials. He is a trial enthusiast and enjoys analyzing the unique set of circumstances and challenges each case presents, to deliver the best result for his clients. Mr. Perez is a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates, a merit-based membership elite trial lawyers board that he counts as one of his greatest honors to have been selected to join.

    He has lectured on various legal topics to bar associations and industry groups including – workers compensation (law changes, practice points), joint and several liability, trial techniques, and premises liability issues.

    Luis resides in Coral Gables with his family and is an involved member of the community. He is an avid sports fan with an unwavering allegiance to the University of Miami Hurricanes and enjoys traveling, naming Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Eleuthera, Bahamas as favorite destinations.

    Anyelin Mesa

    Angie is the managing attorney at PLG, practicing and overseeing cases in the insurance defense group. Previously, she has handled contract disputes and commercial and real estate litigation and had a successful career practicing family law.

    As a seasoned attorney, she has served as first or second-chair in over 20 bench and jury trials and has participated in 30 plus mediations that have reached full or partial settlement. Always open to any opportunity to support her peers, Angie has also been a professor of business and contract law.

    Angie was inspired to pursue a career in the legal profession after working at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office in various child support/domestic violence departments. It was there she observed first-hand the profound impact attorneys can have in their client’s lives and set her intention toward the same path.

    Angie loves to travel anywhere she can be near the ocean and her favorite destinations are Malibu, California and Eleuthera, Bahamas. She has a philanthropic heart, actively participating in, and contributing to, various children’s foundations and charities.

    Hector Mesa

    Hector is an associate attorney in PLG’s insurance defense practice group. He prioritizes client relations through each step of his cases and handles every case with tenacity and finesse.

    During law school, Hector served as a Judicial Clerk at the Third District Court of Appeal, assisting the judges by preparing bench memoranda, oral argument summaries, and performing legal research on various criminal and civil issues.

    Hector resides in Miami with his family.

    Williams Mesa

    Williams is an associate attorney in the firm’s property insurance defense practice group. He excels in all matters necessary to build the client’s case, diligently completing discovery and delivering compelling hearings and motions. In addition, he has taken over 200 depositions and has served as second-chair at trial in first-party and third-party insurance defense cases.

    He approaches each case like a mental chess match, investigating its intricacies and strategizing a successful course of action to secure the best result.

    Williams lives in Brickell with his dog Cunningham and enjoys going to church, exercising, reading, and stand-up comedy.
